Materials

Tweezers are made of a variety of materials:

  • hardened steel – they have a high hardness of the tips, unfortunately they can rust and magnetize. No marking – standard design.
  • stainless steel – with slightly thicker tips, do not rust, but are not as hard as hardened steel tweezers. Marked with the letter S.
  • special steel Eremedelstahl – they do not magnetize, rust, are resistant to acids. They can withstand temperatures up to 300°C.
  • with Pyroplast coating – only Erem tweezers. The coating allows you to work at temperatures up to 500°C – almost twice as high as when coated with Teflon.
Counters capillary effect on tips, tools are resistant to water, irradiation and contamination. The thickness of the coating is 60-80um. Marked with the letters PYR. Coverage available on some models on demand.
  • ergonomic series – covered with a special foam that reduces mechanical stress, which is subjected to the hand for long-term work. ESD safe antistatic performance. Protects against high temperatures. Marked with the letter E.
  • brass – soft tweezers to protect the raised detail from mechanical damage. Not sparkling. Marked with the letter M.
